For this model, we recommend turning the area where the pivot ball sits in a clockwise direction to add more tension to the swivel joint. That is the adjustment point for this particular shower head design. If it still feels too loose after tightening, there is a possibility that excess grease inside the swivel connection is preventing it from maintaining proper tension.

In that case, we would recommend carefully disassembling the shower head while noting the position of all internal parts. By disassembling, you will loosen the same part that the swivel ball sits in by turning counter clockwise. Once disassembled, wash the components with mild soap and water, dry them thoroughly, and then reassemble the unit. In many cases, this helps restore the proper resistance and tension in the swivel joint.
