Water PressureUpdated 2 days ago

Our products are tested at 80 PSI and made to comply with Department of Energy (DOE) regulations using flow regulators, which limit flow rates to 2.5 GPM. If you have a 1.75 GPM Low-Flow shower head, it also meets strict California Energy Commission (CEC) requirements.

Many customers report increased pressure when switching to our products. However, if your water pressure is significantly lower than 80 PSI, the showerhead’s water flow may be reduced.

We do our best to deliver the highest pressure possible – using flow regulators that automatically adjust to your pressure and proprietary nozzles that pressurize the water.

The flow restrictor, located where the showerhead connects to the shower arm, is either green (2.5 GPM, DOE-compliant, available outside California) or blue (1.75 GPM, CEC-compliant, required for California customers).

These restrictors ensure compliance with U.S. Department of Energy and California Energy Commission water regulations while delivering the maximum flow for optimal performance.

We do not recommend removing the flow restrictor, as it’s designed to provide consistent water flow at 80 PSI and comply with federal standards. Modifying the showerhead could affect its functionality and void our return policy if damage occurs.
