Below you'll find the installation guide for the 2-Inch Shower Head, along with an installation video.
Tools & Components:
- Included: 2-inch all metal shower head, rubber washer, and thread tape.
- You’ll need: Adjustable wrench and a microfiber cloth.
Installation Steps:
1. Remove Old Shower Head:
- Use an adjustable wrench to unscrew the existing shower head from the shower arm.
2. Clean the Shower Arm Threads:
- Wipe down the threads of the shower arm with a microfiber cloth, ensuring they are clean and free from old tape.
3. Prepare the Threads:
- Apply thread seal tape around the shower arm threads (3 to 5 turns), wrapping it clockwise to prevent unraveling.
4. Install the New Shower Head:
- Ensure the rubber washer is properly seated inside the shower head.
- Hand-tighten the shower head onto the arm, then use the adjustable wrench to secure it firmly.
5. Leak Test:
- Turn on the water and check for leaks around the connection. If any leaks are present, ensure the washer is seated properly and that you have enough thread tape applied.
Troubleshooting Tips:
- Verify that the rubber washer is correctly positioned and not damaged.
- Ensure adequate thread tape is used for a leak-free seal.
- If leaks persist, check the condition of the shower arm pipe threads.
