Below you'll find the installation guide for the Swivel Adapter, along with an installation video.
What You Need:
- Shower Head Swivel Ball Adapter
- Teflon Thread Seal Tape (included with the adapter)
- Adjustable Wrench or Pliers
- Cloth or Rag
Installation Steps:
Remove the Old Shower Head:
- Start by cleaning the shower arm to remove any debris or old Teflon tape.
Apply New Teflon Tape:
- Wrap fresh Teflon tape around the threads of the shower arm. This will help create a watertight seal.
Install the Swivel Ball Adapter:
- Hand-tighten the swivel ball adapter onto the shower arm, ensuring it’s secure.
- Use pliers for an extra turn to ensure a tight fit without over-tightening.
Reattach the Shower Head:
- Apply Teflon tape to the threads of the swivel ball adapter.
- Install your shower head onto the adapter, tightening it securely.
Testing:
Run water through the setup to check for leaks. You should see a significant improvement in the range of motion, allowing you to direct the spray overhead or in any direction you prefer.
