Below you'll find the installation guide for the Shower Arm and Flange, along with an installation video.
Installation Steps:
Remove the Existing Shower Head:
- Detach it to get started.
Loosen the Flange:
- Use a utility knife to cut any silicone or plumber's putty around the flange.
Remove the Old Shower Arm:
- Insert a screwdriver into the hole of the shower arm for leverage.
- Unthread the shower arm counter-clockwise.
Prepare the New Shower Arm:
- Slide the flange over the new shower arm.
Apply Thread Seal Tape:
- Wrap both ends of the shower arm threads with Teflon tape, applying it counter-clockwise (aim for about 10 turns).
Install the New Shower Arm:
- Guide the shower arm into the wall's hole and start threading it in clockwise with the screwdriver.
Tighten and Square the Arm:
- When it gets tight, give it one last turn to square it up in the shower.
Secure the Flange:
- Slide the flange against the wall and tighten the set screw to secure it.
Seal the Edges:
- Use silicone sealant around the edges for a clean finish.
